GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND RESERVATION

1) Modes of reservation : A reservation is effective and confirmed only upon receipt of the reservation contract along with a deposit, the amount of which varies according to the type of rental reserved and the duration:

camping pitch reservation: 30% deposit of the cost accommodation ordered + 25 € reservation charge, the balance upon your arrival.

rental reservation: 30% deposit of the cost accommodation ordered + 25 € reservation charge (optional cancellation insurance + 8 € / week reserved), the balance at least 30 days before your arrival.

Weekend reservation: 30% deposit of the cost accommodation ordered + 8 € reservation charge, the balance at least 30 days before your arrival.

2) Modes of payment : Along with the signed reservation contract: bank check, credit card (16 numbers + expiration date + 3 digit-codes back side) for reservation by fax, telephone or internet.

A good idea : to save time, reserve by telephone with your credit card.

3) Prices : Our prices include the rental of 1 camping pitch or 1 accommodation and do not include the tourism tax, extras such as animal, certain activities, access to tennis and mini-golf, linen rental, the rental guarantees (250 e returned at your departure).

Domestic animals: admitted on each campsite with an additional charge to be paid along with the reservation. Only one per accommodation. They must always be kept on a lead and must never be left alone in the accommodation. Each owner shall present the vaccination record upon arrival (1st & 2nd category dogs forbidden).

Rental security: upon arrival, a security of 250 e is requested as a guarantee of return of the rental in proper condition. This security is refunded on the day of your departure, provided that no equipment is missing or damaged.

Tourism tax: this municipal tax is compulsory; it is collected with the balance and charged at the price with is applicable during the collection period (request information).

4) Rentals : · The accommodation rentals are for a full week in July and August, starting on Saturday between 3pm and 8pm and ending on Saturday between 7am and 10 am. Nightly or weekend rentals outside of the period are possible.

Attention: for reasons of safety and insurance, the number of occupants specified for each accommodation may not be exceeded. Access will be refused to any person over the specified capacity.

The arrival times for pitch rentals are every day between noon and 8pm, departure before noon.

5) Terms of payment : Every reservation must be confirmed with a deposit, the amount of which varies according to the type of reservation as specified, including the compulsory reservation charges and optional cancellation insurance.

Payment of balance:

- For camping pitch: balance to be paid on the day of arrival.

- For accommodation rentals: the complete balance to be paid at least 30 days before your arrival*.

* Attention: you do not receive any payment reminder from CHADOTEL. Upon receipt of your payment of the balance, we will send you an exchange voucher to be presented on your arrival. In the absence of payment of this balance by the aforesaid deadlines, rental shall be deemed to be automatically cancelled and all sums paid shall be retained by CHADOTEL.

For any reservation of accommodation rental made less than 30 days before your arrival, you must pay the total amount of the rental.

NB: for any booking made directly via Web www.chadotel.com, the deposit will be debited automatically from your credit card and the balance for the rental of mobile home & cottage.

6) Modification or cancellation : Upon receipt of the accommodation deposit, a rental is definitive and non-transferable.

Any modification in the contract shall be advised beforehand and is possible only after the campground's agreement.

No refund is made for any cancellation of stay.

a) Accommodation rental:

For any stay which is cancelled less than 30 days before the date of arrival, the totality of the sums paid is retained by campsite (deposit + reservation charges).

For any stay which is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the date of arrival, whether interrupted or not used, for any reasons whatsoever, the total amount of the reserved stay is due and is retained by the campsite.

b) Camping pitch rental:

For any stay which is cancelled or not consumed, without hearing from the customer 24 hours after the date planned for the arrival, the reservation is cancelled as of right and the deposit and reservation charges are retained.

7) Cancellation insurance (optional): We recommend that you subscribe to our guarantee insurance at the fixed price of 10€ per week for accommodation rentals, in addition to the amount payable in totally upon your reservation.

This cancellation insurance applies within the following conditions: to be accepted, a stay cancellation must be notified with the supporting documents by registered letter within 48 hours after the event that caused the cancellation and only for the following reasons:

- accident, illness or death of the insured, spouse, ancestor or descendant.

- layoff of the insured or spouse which occurred after the reservation.

- serious damage to the principal residence (fire, flood, theft, natural disasters).

The cancellation insurance covers the refund of all sums paid, apart from the reservation charge. The cancellation insurance ceases to be effective at the commencement of the rental, after which it shall not apply even in the aforesaid cases. Any commenced stay is payable in its totality.
